Recipe: Moist and Delicious Carrot Cake 🥕

Nothing beats a delicious carrot cake for a truly indulgent treat! This moist cake, fragrant with spices and generously topped with cream cheese frosting, is perfect for any occasion: a comforting afternoon snack, a dessert to share, or simply a delicious treat for yourself. Ingredients for the cake:

  • 250g of grated carrot

  • 200g of flour

  • 150g of sugar

  • 100g of melted butter

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 sachet of yeast

  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon

 

Ingredients for the icing:

  • 1/2 tub of Philadelphia cream cheese

  • 60g of icing sugar

  • 30g of softened butter

  • 2 tablespoons liquid cream

Preparation steps:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (thermostat 6).

  2. Prepare the carrots: peel and finely grate the carrots.

  3. Mix the flour, yeast, salt, and cinnamon together.

  4. Beat the eggs with the sugar, then add the butter.

  5. Add the carrots

  6. Combine the two mixtures until a homogeneous paste is obtained.

  7. Pour the batter into a greased and floured baking pan.

  8. Bake for 40 to 50 minutes. Check for doneness with a knife.

  9. Allow to cool completely before unmolding.

  10. Prepare the frosting: beat the cream cheese, butter, icing sugar and vanilla until smooth.

  11. Spread the icing over the cooled cake.

When assembling the cake, don't hesitate to add a few strands of grated carrot on top: a simple detail that adds texture, freshness… and an immediate visual “wow” effect! 🥕✨

Then place your creation in the center of the table, accompanied by natural elements (branches, dried flowers…) for an authentic and warm atmosphere.
