In order to guarantee flawless delivery, the Björn teams have developed a Safety Pack. What does this mean in concrete terms?
The Safety Pack, or shatterproof packaging, is first and foremost a sturdy packaging that prioritizes safety over aesthetics.
Our ceramic products (the most fragile ones) travel in a double corrugated cardboard box reinforced with foam or cardboard inserts to prevent the products from colliding. Each product has a specific packaging designed to fit its shape and support its weight. Serving products are individually wrapped in kraft paper and/or bubble wrap to prevent scratches before being inserted into individual packaging.
This packaging is certified by a French independent quality control company.
The packaging is tested and approved for each type of product, so the cardboard box undergoes a battery of 18 crash tests before shipping, based on the standards of courier transport (such as Colissimo).
