This small plate with its asymmetrical shape, enhanced in its centre with slightly sloping edges, adapts to all your dishes from starters to dessert with originality. It absorbs and reflects the light thanks to its relief and makes you travel between land and sea.
As for its manufacture, after a first firing of the clay at low temperature, reactive enamels of different colours are applied to the stoneware and give it a unique and bright relief. The appearance of nuances of colour from one piece to another is the result of a skilful mix of firing techniques and the way the enamel is applied.
The ISLAND collection is inspired by the Faroe Islands, an archipelago off the coast of Denmark in the North Atlantic Ocean. Its visuals are reminiscent of green moors and steep coastal cliffs, where the relief and play of light on the slightly bumpy surface of the elements create an authentic atmosphere that takes us on a journey between land and sea.
