Plate Ø22.5cm

This Ø22.5cm plate covers starters, desserts and light meals. Neither too small nor too imposing, it offers the right compromise to compose something attractive without crowding the table.
Made from earthenware fired at 1150°C, each piece receives a carefully applied surface decoration, in a smoked brown-grey that deepens at the centre and lightens towards the edges. The satin finish, neither truly matt nor really glossy, lets a fine, pleasant grain come through under the fingers, giving relief to the color without ever hardening it.
PEBBLE takes its name from the stone: supple outlines, never quite circular, and rounded reliefs that look polished by use rather than drawn. It comes in two moods, Mist, a pale, matt blue-grey, almost misty, and Smoke, a smoked brown-grey with a more assertive satin grain. One and the same gesture, two ways of bringing it to the table.
