"This perfectly shaped small plate with straight edges is often called a bread plate, ideal for presenting a pastry or side dish, or to be used as a saucer. The interior design with its concentric circles brings a Natural balance to the table and creates a soothing atmosphere. As for its manufacture, after a first firing of the clay at low temperature, reactive enamels of different colours are applied to the stoneware and give it a unique, circular relief. The appearance of nuances of colour from one piece to another is the result of a skilful mix of firing techniques and the way the enamel is applied. The ZEN collection is characterised by a perfect and soothing circular pattern. The Natural colours combined with the contrasting, bright edges bring serenity to the table.
