This 20cl mug is calibrated for a long coffee, tea or the morning cappuccino. A well-judged format, neither too small nor too imposing, whose fluting catches the light and makes the grip more assured.
Made from earthenware fired at 1150°C, each piece is coated with a reactive glaze that transforms freely under the heat of the kiln and settles into the hollows of the fluting. The forest green becomes more intense there, while the ridges come out in lighter tones, naturally drawing the relief. No two pieces are strictly identical.
REED lies entirely in its relief: fine vertical flutes run along the pieces and give the surface a regular rhythm, while the inside stays perfectly smooth. Its Forest version reveals them in a deep, glossy green, denser in the hollows of the grooves, lighter on the ridges. A graphic, tactile collection, as good to look at as to hold.
