This small Ø10.5cm bowl and its 10cl capacity play the supporting role with precision: sauces, olives, condiments, spices or an individual dessert. Compact enough to slip in anywhere, it comes into its own when you line several up at the centre of the table.
Made from earthenware fired at 1150°C, each piece receives a carefully applied surface decoration, in a deep storm grey that lightens towards the centre and thickens at the edges. The shade appears veiled, crossed by a diffuse halo that softens the contrast and shifts the color with the light, between mineral grey and almost blue.
EDGE takes the opposite approach to organic shapes: regular lines, well-judged proportions, and that darker line encircling each piece like a stroke drawn by hand. It comes in two temperaments: Lagoon, a clear, luminous turquoise that evokes shallow water over a mineral bed, and Storm, a veiled, graver storm grey for tables you like understated. Two characters, one design.
